Which Way to the Beach?

Here are some pictures from our afternoon at the beach during our California/Disneyland trip last month.

Time's a-Flyin'

Christian is finishing up his 2nd grade year.  He has LOVED school this year, thanks in part to his fabulous teacher,

Mrs. Findlay.  The students adore her!

She is so incredibly sweet, yet strict enough to get respect from those 8-year-old hooligans!

As I watched him singing so sweetly during his 2nd grade program, I couldn't help but think that's it's just going to be "tomorrow" that he's leaving on his mission to preach the gospel to the world!  How is it possible that time can pass so quickly?

What a good boy Christian is.  He is hilarious, caring, sweet, loving, silly, creative, and MORE all wrapped up into one cute little boy!  I feel so blessed to be his mom!

Field Trip

Last week the kids survived a tsunami at the Children's Museum at the Gateway...

and then suddenly became very patriotic!

My Man!

If you know my husband, you know he's amazing in a million ways.  A wonderful husband, a gourmet cook, a do-it-yourselfer, a scriptorian, a fun-best-friend kind of daddy, and so much more!  Well, now we can add "a great smile" to the list of his awesomeness...

Thanks to the fantastic skills of the people at Lexington Heights Dental, my husband has a handsome new smile!  Now when he makes the people around him smile, he'll feel comfortable smiling, too!  I love this guy!
